For Professional Advisors

The Estate Planning Team at E.P.P.G. Law of St. Johns

At E.P.P.G. Law of St. Johns, we work closely with other professional advisors, including Certified Financial Planner™ Practitioners, investment advisors, financial consultants, insurance professionals, Certified Public Accountants, and tax advisors as part of the estate planning team. We believe the team approach provides our mutual clients with the most comprehensive, realistic and effective estate plan.

The Role of a Trustee in Trust Administration

Our Approach

Our approach begins with an in-depth initial consultation where we discuss the clients estate planning goals and provide general recommendations along with a fee quote for our services. Following this meeting, if they choose to proceed, they will receive a retainer agreement for their review and signature.

During the implementation phase, we collaborate closely with the client, as well as their Financial Advisors and CPAs, to gather all necessary information and documentation. We maintain ongoing communication through phone, email, and in-person meetings to ensure a clear understanding of the client’s goals and to discuss various options.

We believe that no client should sign any document without a comprehensive understanding of its content and the ramifications thereof. To that end, we dedicate a significant amount of time to the signing of documents. It allows us to explain each section of the plan, and answer any questions that have come up in the process.

Once documents are executed, we work directly with our client and their financial planning team to facilitate the necessary funding. We make it a priority to remain accessible to clients, whether they have questions or need to make updates to their estate plans. Our team is always available to support them through every stage of the planning process and beyond.

Your Approach

Every professional organization has different processes, and different methods for interacting with clients. We are happy to work within your processes, or blend our respective methodologies. Our primary goal is to serve the needs of clients and we welcome the opportunity to serve them within the team environment.
